Kapalina is where my two great loves meet: the sea and a really good statement necklace.
A few years ago, after a college breakup, I went looking for an escape and found it in beads. Stringing them became therapy. Every piece I made became the statement of my everyday outfit, and wherever I went, they started conversations.
That's how Kapalina was born. The name means Sabrina in Hawaiian, a nod to the islands, the ocean and everything that inspires me. Kapalina is a creative escape: a way to express yourself, wear what makes you happy and carry a little piece of the sea with you.
Every Kapalina piece is handmade by women in Miami and Venezuela. No two are exactly alike, just like the shells we find along the shore.
